Our shop, located at the junction of two main shopping streets of Eleusis (Iroon Polytechneiou Street and Pagkalou Street), offers gourmet foods, namely cheeses and other dairy products as well as cured meats and traditional foods, all of high quality.
Our family tradition in food trading began in 1950, when my uncle, George N. Andoniou, opened his own grocery store in Mandra, Attica.
In 1975, my father, who had already worked for many years in cheese dairies learning the skills and secrets of cheese-making, decided to open a shop specializing in both dairy (with a focus on cheeses) and prepared meat products, in the central square of Eleusis. In 1981, the shop moved to Iroon Polytechneiou Street where it kept running for the next 29 years. In 2009, as my parents, Panayiotis and Elpida, retired, it was time for me, Nikolaos Andoniou, to take charge of the business. In 2010, we moved to our current address with an aim to offer a multiplicity of goods in a modern, sophisticated environment, a fact which, we surely believe, is going to be highly valued by all connoisseurs of good food.
